Producer's note:

In 2004, while still living in Knoxville, young singer/songwriter Chastity Brown made an incredible solo demo. Unfortunately, the master recording was lost when Studio 613, where the demo was cut, was demolished, leaving only a single, scratched CD dub of her session.

When I discovered these haunting songs, in spite of the technical imperfections, I knew that they MUST be heard. We restored them as much as possible and added subtle instrumentation that Chastity's compositions had hinted at.

As a special bonus, in addition to the live tracks recorded at MTN-TV in February of 2007, the beautiful songs from Chastity's 2004 "lost Knoxville session" are included on the CD of Do The Best You Can, along with a special mix of "Dream in Color Vision" recorded at Creative Aire Studios, Minnetonka. We hope you'll enjoy them all.
